  ABOUT HEART AND CIRCULATION
For healthy heart circulation and for the body's cells to survive and function, the body requires oxygen. The heart is the key to your body's energy needs because it pumps the oxygen-carrying blood, through the vessels (arteries and veins) to all parts of the body. As we get older, various changes take place in the heart and the blood vessels that lead to some deterioration in function. These changes can often be slowed (or hastened), according to our lifestyle.
