Dr. Ed Lakatta

Professor Lakatta is a world-renowned expert in the field of cardiovascular diseases in the elderly. He has participated in many lectures and published numerous articles on this subject. In addition to engaging in research at the Gerontology Center Dr. Lakatta is also a Professor of Medicine, Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, (part-time) and an Adjunct Professor of Physiology, University of Maryland School of Medicine, and Visiting Physician, Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, Baltimore, Maryland.
