Dietary Supplement Use at the Population Level: Recent Experience From the 1994-5 British National Diet and Nutrition Survey: People Aged 65 Years and Over

Abstract: The purpose of this article is to alert readers of this issue to the ongoing National Diet and Nutrition Survey series in mainland Britain, and to draw attention to the existence of information on the use of dietary supplements by different age-groups in the UK, and to some specific issues which need to be addressed, in order to achieve reliable estimates of supplement use from surveys of this type.
