Alzheimer's Disease International (ADI) is an umbrella organisation of fifty national Alzheimer Associations around the world whose main purpose is to improve the quality of life of people with dementia and their
carers and to raise awareness of the disease.
ADI was registered in 1984 in Illinois, USA, as a 'not-for-profit' organisation and is in official relations with the World Health Organization.
