Question

My antidepressants make me tired in the morning. What can I do?

Answer

You should see your doctor. The tiredness may not be caused by the medication, but by your depression. If the antidepressants are the cause, which is entirely possible, and you need to take them, your doctor can prescribe a different type of antidepressant without this side effect. Or he may reduce the dose, if he can do so without the antidepressant becoming ineffective.
